Summer is around the corner and so is our house warming party. This year’s party is special, however, and I’m finding it difficult to contain my excitement. Why you might ask? It’s the one-year anniversary of our first home purchase! While shopping at my local CVS store to pick up party necessities and my favorite Coca-Cola™ products, I couldn’t have been happier. Coca-Cola now has “Share a Coke and a Song” printed on them! Which one did I pick up? “We are family!” (Insert me singing it to my better half). We laughed out loud and realized how excited we are to share our home with our friends for this party. It brought me back to wonderful memories of the first night in our new home – playing music and dancing around, celebrating our accomplishments together.

We grabbed our Coca-Cola products and headed home to make our favorite buffalo chicken dip to serve to our guests. Once in the car, my fiancé used one of our favorite apps called Shazam to download “We are family”, and played it on our way home. We sang and laughed! It’s truly funny how one Coca-Cola bottle can bring us into a sing fest. I highly recommend checking it out. (Shazam is available on iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Android and other devices to get your Coca-Cola Share a Song.) And…. because I’m feeling so happy, I decided to share my favorite buffalo chicken dip recipe, it’s your lucky day!

Spicy Buffalo Chicken Dip

Makes: 4 cups dip

Prep Time: 5 min

Cook Time: 20 min

Ingredients

2 cups shredded cooked chicken

1 (8 oz. pkg.) cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup Hot Buffalo Wings Sauce

1/2 cup blue cheese or ranch dressing

1/2 cup crumbled bleu cheese or your favorite shredded cheese

Directions

PREHEAT oven to 350°F.

COMBINE all ingredients and spoon into shallow 1-quart baking dish.

BAKE 20 minutes or until mixture is heated through; stir. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired. Serve with tortilla chips & enjoy!

Now “You’ve got a friend in me” and a great recipe!

Now that I’ve shared a great memory with you, one of my favorite recipes and how Coca-Cola has enabled me to “Share a Song” I ask you to do the same. There’s nothing like reminiscing about an old memory while you create new ones.

What’s a great memory you have that is sparked by a song title?

I drink Diet Coke like some people drink water and coffee! haha I am the person that shows up to an 8 am meeting with a Diet Coke in hand! I have to say “You Had Me From Hello” by the uhhh mazing Kenny Chesney is one of my favorite songs. My boyfriend sent it to me when we were just beginning our relationship. Now a new home later, puppies, and several vacations later we know that we were both “had from hello”! Congrats on one year in your new home! We are celebrating that accomplishment at the end of the month too!!

My favorite summer time song is “Baby You’re a Firework” by Katy Perry! It takes me back to me and my hubby’s wedding, we are celebrating 5 years this July! What a fun gift that would be for me to see that on a bottle of Coke to give to him 🙂 Thx for the recipe can’t wait to try ot 🙂

What a great post Tonya! I love that song as well! “God Bless A Broken Road” will always have a special place in my heart because it was our wedding song and it always takes me back to that day where I looked around the reception hall and everyone was smiling, full of so much happiness, especially our parents! Best feeling! Thank you for sharing this post and no doubt I will be making this east to follow recipe! I hope I can make it as delicious as you! Xo, Roselyn
