When SK-II reached out to me to partner up with them on their “Changing Your Destiny” campaign it hit home for me. Recently I’ve been going through some major life changes and it’s something I was able to do because I took my life into my own hands and created the life I wanted! I truly believe that we control our own happiness and no matter what life throws at us it’s only on how we react that dictates how our future turns out. 

We all have days where life can be so overwhelming, whether it’s a relationship, job or simply something personal that we are dealing with. I think taking a step back and writing down a list on what things you want to change and then make a plan on how you can achieve to make those changes. For me it helps to physically write something down and then be able to see it on a daily basis that helps remind myself on what I am trying to achieve. Also, please remember that nothing happens over night.

I’ve worked so hard over the past two years to make all the steps I needed to make to be able to leave my corporate job and now work full time for myself. There are days that are stressful, but there are also the days that I couldn’t image myself doing anything else but being a lifestyle blogger. I have worked job after job until I really found out what makes me happy. Happiness isn’t about how much money you make, it’s about waking up every morning being content with what you do and how it’s your passion. Don’t ever think it’s too late to push for your dreams!
