If you’ve been following me for a while now, you know how important skincare is to me! I have struggled with acne for most of my life and am always looking for new skincare products to incorporate into my routine! I have used DERMA E products for a while now and when I found out they were coming out with acne products, I was sold!

It’s so hard to find an affordable, clean skincare brand. You either have to shell out a bunch of money to find out if the products even work for your skin, or settle for the cheap stuff and get what you pay for. DERMA E is not only affordable but effective. It’s also now backed by three amazing dermatologists so you know you’re getting quality skincare products!

Not only can you find their products in stores such as Target and Ulta, but DERMA E is cruelty-free and 100% vegan! I feel rest-assured using their products knowing that they’re clean and not tested on animals! 

When they recently came out with an acne system, I couldn’t wait to try it. It’s selling out everywhere, too!

One of the first products I tried was DERMA E’s acne deep pore cleansing wash. As someone who struggles with breakouts here and there, having a cleanser with salicylic acid in it is a must! In addition, the acne deep pore cleansing wash has tea tree oil and chamomile to soothe redness yet leaving your skin feeling fresh and moisturized! A lot of cleansers with salicylic acid can dry out your face, but DERMA E’s leaves my skin feeling debris-free and fresh! I like to use this as the first step in my skincare routine after taking off my makeup at the end of the day or as soon as I wake up.

Next, DERMA E’s acne blemish control treatment serum really helps combat the cystic acne I often deal with. It’s also great for blackheads and other breakouts! The serum does not leave my skin feeling oily and it absorbs right away. The serum also contains salicylic acid and tea tree oil with added aloe vera for an extra soothing feel!

After using the serum, I use DERMA E’s tea tree and Vitamin E oil as needed. Tea tree oil in conjunction with Vitamin E helps to spot treat problem areas such as acne scarring for soothing relief and faster healing. This is also a great product to use on mosquito bites! What I love about this oil is, like the rest of their acne line, is that it’s not drying on your skin and really leaves my skin feeling hydrated and refreshed!

Lastly, I use DERMA E’s acne rebalancing cream to keep my skin moisturized while helping to clear my breakouts at the same time. Using a moisturizer with salicylic acid is great for helping to prevent breakouts before they happen. Unlike other moisturizers I’ve tried, DERMA E’s acne rebalancing cream keeps my skin moisturized without disrupting my makeup routine!
