I can’t wait until the summer time to lay out by the pool and go on vacation and bring a good book with me and just relax. Putting your phone down and unwinding with a book is one of my favorite things to do!
Lately, I have been loving thrillers. Laying in bed with my favorite sparkling water (Ya know, preggo trying to spice up what I drink) and reading a thriller! I’m always in bed at night going “OMGosh!!!” and Carl laughs cause I’m so into what I’m reading.
The best is when a book is so good you just can’t put it down! Here are some favorites that I’ve read recently that are all available for quick shipping! Each book is linked!
This story is about an investigator who is tasked with finding a mother and her son who mysteriously disappear. In order to find them, Clare, the investigator, goes to the town where they vanished from disguising herself as the mother’s best friend to get some answers. She soon learns that everyone is hiding something and the answers she finds were not what she was expecting.
Another missing person’s tale, Girl Last Seen, is about a little girl who goes missing outside of her elementary school. The narrator soon realizes the photo of this missing little girl could be her! There are two missing girls, thirteen years apart and now their stories have too many similarities. This is a psychological thriller that will hook you from page one!
This thriller is about a parent on a quest to find their runaway daughter. She’s addicted to drugs and to her abusive boyfriend and doesn’t want to be found. But when she’s found in Central Park, she’s a completely different person. I was hooked from the first page!

If you’ve read The Silent Girls, you must read this book! It’s a sequel and just as good, if not better. This story is about college student Rachel Rath who feels as if she’s being watched. A side glance reveals this man looks like the same person who killed her mother and father. Detective Frank Rath, Rachel’s uncle, adopted her after the murder, and when other girls in the town go missing and are found murdered, it becomes all too real.
Louise is a single mom who just got a new job. While she’s out one night, she meets and hits it off with a man who turns out to be her new boss. She then meets the boss’ wife, Adele, and puts the pieces together. These people are hiding some secrets, and Louise is determined to find out what is going on.
If you’re a big book to movie person like myself, this is the book for you! The Woman in the Window is soon to be a major motion picture and is a number one bestseller. Taking place in New York City, this book is about a woman named Anna who spends a little too much time in her apartment, giving her ample time to spy on her neighbors. When the Russell family moves in, her spying one night leads her to see something she probably shouldn’t have and she has a hard time distinguishing between imaginary and reality.
This book is about Naomi, dubbed “the child finder” due to her knack for locating missing children. When little Madison Culver disappears during her family’s Christmas tree chopping outing, the Culvers turn to Naomi to help find their missing daughter. During her pursuit to find Madison, Naomi slowly begins to uncover the secrets of her own life. This book alternates between Madison and Naomi’s voices so it can become confusing, but is so worth the the read! **My number ONE**
